Bloom Bowls are a series of carved and reduction fired bowls that summarize my work in 2021; minimal, sleek, modern, with a touch of whimsy. This style of making is an exercise of patience in my practice; from waiting until the right moment to carve, sponge, trim, and the right moment to hold the kiln in reduction.
